Hallie and Danica - 16th Street, SF
Danica: "I like colors. We both like leather."
Hallie: "Boyish things. Yes, we both have an affinity for leather. I guess underneath is a bit of an Annie Hall-thing, if I'm gonna embarrass myself. And this (jacket) I just got at a thrift store and I like it. Acid wash - bringing it back."
I like how Hallie and Danica use clever ways of layering to keep warm and fashionable at the same time. I particularly like Hallie's acid wash jean jacket and menswear vest under her scarf.
A closer look at Danica's leather owl purse and the wash on Hallie's denim jacket.

hah, i love the acid wash. been a big fan of it for years now! cool to see other people rocking it now, and in new and unexpected ways, too.
Amazing how their two styles complement each other so well. But really they both look so spectacularly cool.
The craftsmanship & detail on the owl bag is phenomenal!
Hallie has such great hair! I look at it and want to weep.
I love that bag!
@connie, her hair made me rethink hot rollers. and! the idea of getting completely 'done' before leaving home. i always dress well and look neat, but i some times (most times) leave w/out doing anything, beyond running a comb through, my hair.
I have that owl purse and love it more than life itself! I searched for it vigorously after i saw it on your blog a year ago and I FINALLY found one :)
