"My fashion is inspired by dirt and animals and I'm gonna start selling at Needles and Pens again."

When shooting people for street fashion, you only have a a split second to assess people before they pass by. I use a simple formula of checking to see if some part of their outfit leaps out at me.

With Emily it's her small DIY fanny pack that matches her brown shirt layer.(Fanny packs that she sells at Needle and Pens, under an eponymous label.) It's also her blue button earrings that match her eyes.


Her shoes are wonderfully worn and rugged from use.
