Kaia - Hayes Street, SF
"I think, for the most part, what inspires my style is vintage obviously, mostly the 40s, 50s, some of the 80s as well. Just finding things that bring out - that really work with the shape of your body/ shape of my body which is not always typical in today's society. I guess that's basically it and really good colors and good fabrics."
It's charming how her clothes have an air of 1920s tailoring (notice the asymmetrical drop waist and her knotted neck chain), but are definitely modern pieces. Coincidentally, I've recently taken a photo of Kaia's aunt, Monica. It's nice to see style might run in their family. :)
Great oxford shoes bought at Gimme Shoes.
