Alton - Wisconsin Street, SF

"The 80s and early 90s and the glamour of the 40s and 50s are where I find my inspiration. And I just kind of throw it together and layer with accessories."
Alton is dead-on with his inspiration. I feel the ghosts of (my) high school past following him around. I didn't have a leather biker jacket, but my sister did and I borrowed it as much as I could. And those accessories? (I was guilty of wearing dog tags too.) Swoon. Go Alton! Go!

These lovely dirt colored (almost) camouflaged trainers are definitely aughts though, not clunky a bit more stylin' than the 80s and 90s. What they lack in authenticity they make up for in form. Also, a homage is best if it isn't an exact copy.
