SF Weekly Web Awards 2011 - Best Fashion Blogger
Hello, what an honor and what a super nice write-up from Kevin Montgomery. Also a big congrats to all the nominees in the fashion category, but an especially big *holla!* to fellow finalists Annie Wilson and Katie Hintz. It's pretty evident that I have a hard time writing, now that I'm not employed to do so, but know this: I was at a friend's house when I heard the news and it compelled me to launch myself in the air. Repeatedly. THANK YOU to whomever nominated me, to the judges, to everyone that voted, to everyone that has ever allowed me to take their picture, and to the friends who have been checking (and giving me feedback about) fashionist from the start. Cheers.
Unfortunately, I'll be out of town for NY Fashion Week, (#horriblehumblebrag) and won't be able to go to the Web Awards, Friday, September 9th at 111 Minna. I'm hoping that they'll allow a (funny/ fellow winner/ designated) friend to say something on my behalf. You should go though.

Was looking forward to congratulating you at the party, but NYFW is a fine excuse.
