Eunice - Le Loi, HCMC

"My friends say I dress different. I'm inspired by Japanese street fashion."

Eunice is the image of goth-inspiration dressing done the SE Asian way. And her white shirt with bow tie? Oh my.

Biker boots in the heat of HCMC, now that is dedication to fashion.

Trinh - Phan Dinh Phung Street, Dalat

"I like this coat and these shoes."

I like how she gets around the usual bundled up Dalat wear by making a compromise with shorts and a coat.

A look at her pink mules and matching pedicure.

Tigon - Cho Dalat, Dalat

"I don't know."

Her outfit is so simple and sweet. Little black sweater, black shirt with a green and tights. A few bangles for wrist flash. She stood out because subtlety in fashion is a rare trait here.

Khanh Huy - Mac Dinh Chi, HCMC

"Thanks a lot."

I like that Khanh wears clothes that fit slim. His monochromatic dressing also extends the visual line. The thing that really caught my eye? Facial hair. Men shouldn't underestimate how much facial hair can be an accessory. If you recognize Khanh, it's because he's been on local series Wild Sunflower. He is currently working on Victor Vu's film, Chuyen Tinh Xa Xu.

Yep, flip-flops.

Antonia - Mac Thi Buoi, HCMC

"I'm French actually and I just like colors."

Rocking a chinoiserie look in district 1.

Very cute sandals.

Serene - Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, HCMC

"Whatever I can get my hands on generally."

I like her colorful and stylin' vintage Saks Fifth Avenue dress and
her metallic platform sandals. Serene spends her days digging through
archives as a PH.D. candidate from Toronto, researching the Chinese
diaspora in Southeast Asia.

Cute metallic platform sandals.
