Larry - Market Street, SF

"My Mom, I guess. I get it from my Momma. She always dresses nice, even if she's not going nowhere, so I picked it up from her. She said I stand in the mirror kind of long, but I like to be neat."

I'm all for people taking big risks for fashion. Bling would not be an inaccurate way to describe Larry, who also has LL (his initials) on his grill in diamonds, and check out his buckle of folded hundred dollar bills.

Hi yellow snake skin boots, how do you do?

Kelsey - Polk Street, SF

"Oh, I wear this coat every day and I wear this fur every day, and I love this dress. I work in vintage."

I like her coat and the very long 70s-era maxi length dress she has underneath. Kelsey was also super patient with me as I was shooting her. :)

Her brown suede boots are lovely and amazing.

Van - Market Street, SF

"For my style I usually just look for something that is new, that hasn't been done already and then mix it already with whatever that I have. I like a lot of vintage stuff and mixing it with a modern twist too."

I like how she seems to be referencing the pin-up girls of the 1940s with her top and high-waisted jeans.

Great 1940s looking peeptoes.

"I'm Italian, I like Italian brands."

I like his reflective (cop-esque) sunglasses, his striped sweater and how his leather jacket fits (just right).

Joel - Market Street, SF

"I would say loose fluent Rock ‘n’ Roll."

Joel has on great shoes from Marc Jacobs and an adept hand at layering for an almost ascot look. His jacket is MJ as well.

A look at his covetable bag.

His charming purple suede shoes.

Daniel - Powell Street Turnaround, SF

"Warriors meets Blade Runner meets 80s neon techno future pop colors."

I like how he's personalized his leather jacket with braided rope through the right epaulet and how well all his clothes fit him.

Daniel just came from painting, but looks great. I hope to run into him when he's dressed up, I'll bet he looks phenomenal.

Caitlin - Powell Street Turnaround, SF

"Color - trying to overcome winter."

Caitlin's outfit is infused with whimsy by the nature of her accessories: pink feather earrings, sequinned belt, and white cowboy boots. She looks great.

Susan - Powell Street Turnaround, SF

"The colors, I like crazy clothes, like party clothes. I wear them to school because I go to an art school."

I love the joyfulness of Susan's outfit, especially her blouse and knapsack.

Susan's knapsack is particularly reminiscent of my high school years. Charming indeed.

Well-loved Keds.

"The 80s and mushrooms and acid."

Erik (a.k.a. conceptual artist Lazlo Kovax) wears refreshingly bright clothes. I've actually featured him before.

Mathew - Valencia Street, SF

"I found this great store downtown, Torso Vintage, near Union Square. They have some great stuff, I really try to buy vintage stuff when I can, if it's affordable. Inspiration comes from art and literature and a lot of different things."

Relaxed preppy style. I like how Mathew's clothes fit and the relaxed fabrics his outfit are made of: corduroy, cashmere, wool, and lightweight denim.

His Pro-Keds.
