Maggie - Valencia Street, SF

"Serendipity and what I come across. I like retro things and I tend to dress in costume according to how I feel that day. I'll get up and kind of change my look based on if I want to be comfortable or feel like naughty secretary day."

Hey, it's the very stylish and lifelist-fulfilling/ envy producing Maggie! (Though, I admit it's hard to not root for all the awesome things she gets to do because Maggie's enthusiasm for the creative and life affirming is phenomenal. Her excitement for all things creative and awesome is infectious.) Maggie is wearing a gorgeous vintage skirt, whose color combination reminds me of the folk skirts of Sapa. Paired with that green knit top, she looks perfect for a fall day in San Francisco.

And yes, Maggie's been on the site before and she's contributed in the past. She's even proven that she looks great when she's sick.

Lovely blue pointy flats. When I complimented her on them, Maggie conspiratorially whispered, "They're from Target."

Darrin and Keone - Mint Plaza, SF

Keone: "I have two different looks: sloppy, cute, disheveled, yeah... and then structured, like men's classic tailoring and somewhere hybrid in-between. I'm either feeling like shlumpy or needing to be buttoned up and secure. This is my two."
Darrin: "Style inspiration? Urban sophisticated."

I like how they look like they're wearing a uniform. A well fitting, flattering, and informal uniform, but a uniform nonetheless.

Nudish colored casual shoes.

"I don't know. I just buy what I like. I'm a painter, I like paintings and whatever. My pallet."

I like her cute shift and short breezy haircut.

Sandals with tights.

JT - Valencia Street, SF

"It was a Halloween costume my mom sewed me."

Wearing a Mondrian dress? That is so very cool.

Black oxfords to offset the wearable art.

Jenette and Josh - Dolores Street, SF

Jenette: "I would have to say my roommates, all my other friends, and thrift stores. And just liking to shop and being in San Francisco."
Josh: "Definitely thrift stores. It's what I find, it's what I get given."

I like the silhouettes of their outfits. Denim that fits slim, but isn't too tight, her coat perfectly fit on the small side, his colorful madras-esque plaid button down and colorful cardigan. In an understated way, they look great head-to-toe.

Shiny, color-rich leather shoes.

Conan - Dolores Park, SF

"I spent some time in Paris, that was really inspiring. And just, I don't know, beautiful things. The City is incredible and I'm constantly drawing inspiration from both the people and the energy."

I like his white shorts and taupe cardigan combo, as well as how put together, yet rumpled he looks. Also, after a year of clear frames everywhere, his thick black frames look great.

A look at his moccassins.

Julia - Dolores Park, SF

"I kind of built it around this t-shirt which I got when I was 18 [in] the boy's department of a thrift store. And I just cut the neck out. I had it in a box for sentimental value and now high-waisted skirts are in, you know because it goes down to there, it's now something I can actually wear it with."

I like clothes that are customized and colorful skirts that are worn on waist. I also really like her colorful plastic sunnies with the touch of gold at the temples.

Nude flats with slits.

Meg - 18th Street, SF

"I just really love girly, vintage things, that make me feel really feminine. Clothes that have lots of color, and I just have fun with it and I'm comfortable."

I love this wide pattern gingham dress. I don't know Meg's secret to great vintage dressing, but it seems like this strapless gown was tailored to fit.

Cute 70s-esque wedge platforms.

Lisa - Dolores Park, SF

"It's too low-cut, so I put a t-shirt on underneath."

I like this multi-color dress and though I wouldn't wear it sans t-shirt, I like how the shirt adds an element of sportiness to the outfit. Lisa does a good job of making this dress look good as day wear.

Sort of love the beading on these sandals.

Danielle - Hayes Street, SF

"What inspires my style is caffeine. I don't know. I don't have inspiration for what I do, just nature."

I love the contrast/pairing of the green and turquoise blue.

Her beat-up, previously bright, yellow flats.

Lilli - Patricia's Green, SF

"I dress mostly vintage because I work at a vintage store up the street. So kind of getting ready in the morning I think of a decade or actress or anything from the decade and kind of, go off that. This morning my skirt was kind of Jean Seberg in Breathless. And I normally wear a striped shirt with this, but I just wanted to wear this floral today and make it a little more 70s, instead of 50s. And just change it around a little. "

She looks great with her patterned blouse, jangly chain necklace, skirt and butterscotch colored leather boots. I wouldn't be surprised if Bonnie Parker wore a similar outfit during her life of crime.

Those aforementioned boots.

Cigdem looks great in her vintage sweater, long leather earrings, vintage leather and knit handbag, and those great snakeskin pumps.

The aforementioned green snakeskin pumps from Paolo.

Julius and Lila -Treat Street, SF

Julius: "My cousin Lila."
Lila: "This outfit is inspired by orange."

Bright colors, face paint, clothes that fit well and a skirt that sits on waist; I'm liking it.

A look at their shoes.

Emma - Treat Street, SF

"I was in a mac-n-cheese competition earlier and my dish was Connecticut Yankee, so I was red-white-and-blue. Also, it is my most festive dress and I actually have served mac-n-cheese, in this outfit, for a party before. So I wore this before when I served mac-n-cheese and so, it was just a carry-on of the tradition. And my friend Alicia there made this macaroni necklace for me. I wasn't actually wearing this sweater earlier, I put it on as the day got later and cold, the sweater, in terms of my fashion inspiration, is like found things. I've been really lucky in my life to get clothes just given to me like this sweater came from my Mother's attic, my Grandmother's house. Sorry, not my Mother's attic, her Mother's attic and I have a Salvation Army a block away from me, so I find a lot clothes...this was actually from that Salvation Army. A lot of found things, like the shoes, a friend, she was moving out, actually gave to me; she was like, "do you want these shoes?" I feel that I'm the depository for the fun and weird stuff that people don't want. And I love them, these are my favorite shoes, I love the dress and the sweater keeps me warm. I hope that helps you."

I like the rough hewn sweater paired with the festive dress.

Red clogs.

Cindy - Market Street, SF

"My style? I think it's just comfort."

I spotted Cindy's amazing Gucci heels first and then saw the lovely avian pattern on her BCBG dress.

Red snakeskin is so pretty and bold, make sure to click on the image to check out the small goldplate on the heels.

Candice - 2nd Street, SF

"My style, I think, is a mix between feminine and masculine. So I enjoy feminine shapes/ hourglass, but I like masculine textures. Like the ruffled leather (shoes) and this (dress) is a little heavier and most of my clothes - I'm an attorney, - so I have to wear suits. I try to wear them with silks. Things that are feminine, with feminine silhouettes and masculine fabrics. Kind of like that messy...Diane Kruger, I like a lot now. Messy feminine, but still sophisticated."

I like her dress, look at those lovely neckline and waist pintucks. I also like how she accessorizes with a messy ponytail and costume jewelry.

Look at her amazing Badgely Mischka heels.

Check out the ruffled leather on the back of those heels.
