Autumn - 21st Street, SF

"My mood and one pieces for the whole summer. I want them in everything."

Autumn looks great, keeping accessories to a minimum and wearing her one piece with cute sandals.

A look at those sandals.

Today's theme is one pieces (or jumpers). I really think they're gonna rule the streets this summer.

"I love jumpsuits. I have a jumpsuit collection actually. Things that inspire me? I love the 70s and bright colors."

A vision in a golden hour glow of peach, Wayfarers and platforms.

Really great platform sandals.

Megan - Dolores Park, SF

"My friend Peggy Noland designs lots and lots of outfits and she made this for me. It's a one piece. She's from Kansas. She designs for CSS."

Firstly, I love one pieces. I'm really enamored of the ease of looking put together and the bravery in dressing that is behind putting on a one piece. In addition, I love Peggy Noland, she's fantastic and I was trying to figure out if I could somehow sell a kidney to get one of her pieces this past year (I decided against it, but just).

This piece has particularly lovely sleeves and is so very flattering, even though Megan is a real woman (versus super skinny). Yay Peggy! Yay Megan!

Her super cute black booties.

Aya and Naomitsu - Market Street, SF

Aya: "Juicy couture."
Naomitsu: "Rock."

I like how it looks like they had a lot of fun getting dressed. From their accessories (her earrings, the pin on his hat) to their shoes, everything is a bit mussed and stamped with individuality.

A look at how they re-imagined traditional ways of styling shoes (her interesting tights with ornate sandals and his jeans into unlaced up boots). It's always the little things.

Philip - Grant Avenue, SF

"Well I always rock the Adidas shell toes, so I'd say Run DMC meets my Dad. I think my Dad picked this out, he saw this at a store and said, "That's great!" and I said, "That's pretty corny. Actually it's pretty sweet." So... yeah."

I love the color (texture!) of his well-cut sports jacket and how good it looks with the shirt and shell toes. This is SF business casual at its best.

Philip is rockin' some great frames.

A look at those shell toes.

And, yes, that's Philip Kaplan looking so dapper.

Miss Fortune - Octavia Boulevard, SF (Quick Shots)

Saba Choudhry is the woman behind Miss Fortune Designs. I love how she re-works 80s-era heels through decoupage; alas I have a hard time in heels that aren't kitten or platform.

Karen Lewis is the talented woman behind Nonsense Stuff. I like her vinyl toys and condom wallets.

I was at Capsule in Hayes Valley yesterday and Rena and Lisa, the lovely purveyors of Rare Device, took my photo when I stopped to buy a wallet.

Megan - Grove Street, SF

"I guess other people I see on the street, I read a lot of fashion blogs."

I really like her proportions here and her blue tunic under her sport coat. Turns out Megan is graduating tomorrow, she said she was thinking of starting her own street fashion site, so be on the look out for her site soon. Megan - please comment with your url when your site is up.

Ashley - Pierce Street, SF

"Well my friends and I decided to go with a Prohibition theme this year , so we had a bathtub with gin and lemonade and we're all dressing up Prohibition-era."

I'm always taken in by a dropped waist and a cloche hat.

Shoes that are a bit more practical then their 1920s equivalent.

Ashley - Dolores Park, SF

"This particular outfit is Erin Fetherstone and I kind of like dressing like a doll."

Dolls never accessorize as well, nor do they have as cute of haircuts.

Jesse - Alamo Square Park, SF

"One, I committed to hanging out with the Elvises, who I need to catch up with soon. And my other friends were, "hey we're making lederhosen at our place, bring an old pair of pants, so we'll cut them up and make lederhosen." So, I was like, "cool." So I found these old pair of pants and I did the whole sequin thing with Elvis, so I'm basically Elvis Hosely, that's the whole joke. No, it's fun and after the sun came out, it a great outfit, I think."

Stella - Maker Faire, San Mateo

"This kind of reminds me of a sunset."

I love the one piece, especially a la the 1980s. I like how she cinched it with a big pink belt while keeping other accessories to a minimum and her shoe color neutral.

A look at those shoes.

Laura- Dolores Street, SF

"Mostly everything I have is from a thrift store. I like bright colors and I like A-lines because I have big hips."

Beyond liking her floral dress, I like her hair and her sunglasses and how well she wears this all together. I just like her style.

A look at her buckle flats.

Tara and Dexter - Steiner Street, SF

"This is outfit is kind of a roll-out-of bed take-the-dog-to-the-park (outfit)."

I like how her shoes look with her burgundy velvet corduroy pants.

A closer look at those colors.
