Danielle - Hayes Street, SF

"What inspires my style is caffeine. I don't know. I don't have inspiration for what I do, just nature."
I love the contrast/pairing of the green and turquoise blue.

Her beat-up, previously bright, yellow flats.

Lilli - Patricia's Green, SF

"I dress mostly vintage because I work at a vintage store up the street. So kind of getting ready in the morning I think of a decade or actress or anything from the decade and kind of, go off that. This morning my skirt was kind of Jean Seberg in Breathless. And I normally wear a striped shirt with this, but I just wanted to wear this floral today and make it a little more 70s, instead of 50s. And just change it around a little. "
She looks great with her patterned blouse, jangly chain necklace, skirt and butterscotch colored leather boots. I wouldn't be surprised if Bonnie Parker wore a similar outfit during her life of crime.

Those aforementioned boots.

Sybil - Hayes Valley, SF

"Good question, I'm not sure. I've always liked the 70s look so that's probably what it is..."
I love her lovely pleasant blouse with the lace inlay and her rope belt and the platforms she's wearing with her on-waist jeans.

A look at those peeking platforms.

Tawny - Hayes Valley, SF
"I think individual thrift finds that can be thrown together. So thrifting."
I sense a little bit of a modern twist on Stevie Nick's style in the flowery vest and the filmy shirt underneath. I love her flowing hair and I think Tawny is quite clever with layering as each of her three layers are of different material/ texture creating depth and an interesting silhouette in the outfit. And adding chalk-striped jeans to the mixture as well; Tawny has a lot of clothes confidence and that is something I can really get behind.

Hi there, fringe moccasin boots!

Irene - Hayes Valley, SF

"I just love clothes."
This is Irene of Chillin' Productions. I love her maxi dress and her platforms here. I've also taken a photo of her daughter Isabella before, I'm not gonna say style is genetic, but...

A look at her platforms.

Rebecca and Milla - Hayes Valley, SF

(Referencing Milla's clothes) "It's all vintage, this is a vintage dress and the stockings match. I used to wear this." (What Rebecca is inspired by) "You know what I'm really inspired by the 1920s, 1930s style. I really like that style. Really elegant, with the high-waisted skirts. I'm not really dressed like that now, but I'll give you my card and you can stop by."
The lovely proprietor of Venus Superstar. Put together while on mommy duty.

A look at her black leather boots.

Steffan: "80s Miami retiree."

Casual fashion done well. I'd also like to see Brandon's outfit when all his clothes are clean.

Gretchen - Hayes Valley, SF

"I think what inspires my style is my mood mostly, I try to express myself, it's different each day. So right now it's definitely the 70s, sometimes it's flower child, sometimes it's Abba."
Lovely blouse and sitting-on-waist flared jeans. I like how she looks like she could've stepped out of a 1979 Prell ad. Gretchen is the powerhouse behind Moth Love.

A look at her sandals.

Magda - Hayes Valley, SF

"This outfit is ... I'm from Brazil. I like this."
Simple red shirtdress with a great clutch and deliciously divine peep toes. Sometimes, it is all about the accessories.

Gorgeous blue suede, platform, peep toes.

"Inspiration is definitely San Francisco. I'm from Australia and I'm just traveling around meeting people."
This is one of the best casual "I'm traveling" outfits I've ever seen. She's even accessorized with a wooden brooch and her dress is just so cute.

A look at her boots.

Ali - Hayes Valley, SF

"Mixing vintage pieces with newer stuff. And I read a lot of fashion blogs and magazines. And just finding things that I think are cute. These boots were my friend's, she gave them to me because she thought I'd wear them more than she would and I wear them all the time. I love them."
You may remember Ali from an earlier post. As I mentioned there is something just great about redheads wearing red. Also, I'm a little covetous of this red frock.

A look at those aforementioned friend-me-down boots.
