I was excited to catch Sarah walking down Fillmore the other day. It's been awhile since I've seen a Gothic Lolita in San Francisco. The effort she took in planning her outfit and getting dressed in the morning is something to be admired.

Thanks to Marisa Wellen at wonderbrand, I had the opportunity to attend the William Good launch at the Japantown Goodwill. Though, my hat tip goes to bits and bobbins and SF Indie Fashion on whose sites I first read about the venture.

I'm in the process of figuring out how to take clear, non-washed out indoor photos (at night!) with my Canon 20D's built-in flash, so I used the event to experiment. These photos were my most successful of the evening. (Success being: subjects look in focus and human colored.)

I like that Jessica has a grunge-equestrian feel to her outfit. I've also been noticing that flannel is beginning to crop up around SF.

Jessica also wins the good sport of the day for putting up with my camera quirks. She was very kind and patient as I took photo after photo.
