I'm really into the idea of dressing like a senior in high school circa 1987. Kara's dress with it's peach hue and thin stripes remind me of that era.

"Umm, I watch a lot of tv, so I either try to dress like Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl or Joan Halloway on Mad Men. This is more of a Joan Halloway look since it has a 60-ish thing to it with a cinched waist and kind of makes my hips look bigger like Joan Halloway."

Kat is Square Eyes - tv watcher and blogger extraordinaire. I admire her dedication in hoping to bring what she sees on the small screen into the outside world via self adornment. Also, her brocade fabric dress is quite lovely.
