Katie:
"I take inspiration from definitely, a little bit of throwback, but make it a little more modern. I'm inspired by where I'm at, like if I'm a specific city, that will inspire. [For example] layering in San Francisco and if I go somewhere else, I make it a little unique to that city."
Hana:
"I just like to have my own style and kind of bring it to the table. I like to have a little bit of a vintage look, but my own style and bring it, kind of, to this [modern] day."
I love how sophisticated, yet comfortable and slouchy Katie looks in her anorak, layered with her scarf and black dress. Her outfit (including her hairstyle) radiates a studied put togetherness that is just slightly rumpled. It's like she couldn't be bothered today, but by the way, no matter what she throws on, she always looks great. Hana, on the other hand, looks dapper and chic in layering her menswear pieces. She's wearing a tuxedo shirt and bow tie (mid-day, no less) with a checked vest and a lovely cardigan. I think the key with women wearing menswear, is getting the fit right and Hana definitely has it right here.
A look at Katie's slouchy heeled boots and Hana's cute two-tone loafers.
