Holly - Fort Mason, SF

"I like clothes that are comfortable, well made, with classic silhouettes."
Holly looks so perfect in her well tailored clothes, you may not register her diminutive stature.

Lovely black and gold flecked oxfords.

Brydie and Holly - Creator's Project, Fort Mason, SF

Brydie: "Old grandmothers."
Holly: "I guess, more comfort than anything."
Cuties mixing layers, textures, colors and looking all around perfectly prepared for an evening and night at Fort Mason.

A close look at their different, yet equally practical shoes.

Erik and Caitlin - Creator's Project, Fort Mason, SF

Erik: "I guess I just wanted to be comfortable today."
Caitlin: "We are going to seem Pam Grier at the Castro later today, so I thought I'd wear something that is Pam Grier actionwear inspired but could also deal with the whipping winds of Fort Mason."
I like her multitude of colors in contrast to his black and white. Notice how they are, essentially, wearing a uniform of t-shirt, blazer, and boots.

A look at their boots.

Dory - Creator's Project, Fort Mason, SF

"This is, I was thinking of what my grandmother would wear... if she was a hippie."
Great hair. Cute lace dress and voluminous cape. She's sweetly wearing green because it was St. Patrick's Day.

Soft leather boots that are every so slightly more worn on the left side. I like seeing these lived in aspects of clothes in street style. She's made her mark on these boots through how her body wears them and that is part of her when she wears them out. Pretty great.

Nicole - Creator's Project, Fort Mason, SF

"I guess I went with grays because it's gray out today. That's pretty much it."
Wow, blast from the past. Nicole remembered I took a picture of her in the early days of Fashionist. I think we've both changed (alot) since then. What hasn't changed is her good sense of style and proportion. Also, consistently super cute hair.

A look at her cute ankle boots.

"This outfit is based off of colors and textures. I really like mixing things that you wouldn't necessarily mix together."
I like how her salmon colored blouse looks like a matching top to her Michael Kor's denim. That is, until you zoom in and see the pattern. She wasn't kidding about mixing the textures: wool, cotton, and velvet and leather have an easy truce in this outfit.

I love these soft leather booties by Candid that she bought secondhand at Wasteland.
