Victoria and Lula - Alameda Flea Market, Alameda

Victoria: "1934, comfort, fun, layers, warmth. Lula was inspired by black and white this morning, right. Do you have anything else to say about what inspires you when you get dressed? 80s, 50s, or 60s Lu?
Lula: "60s."

I love their tousled layered look (with a bit of boho for good measure).

Adrienne and Bea - College Avenue, Oakland

"Basically these days, it's whatever fits."

Adrienne might look familiar because she was one of my earliest fashionist models. Others might recognize Adrienne as the singer of Citizens Here and Abroad. The question of style being hereditary might be answered by Bea sporting a public transportation tee.

A look at Adrienne's very stylish boots.

Maelle, Amelie and Liya - Mile End, Montreal

"Just being comfortable and have a touch of originality, but simple."

Amelie with her two daughters mixes interesting textures and patterns to create these really great comfortable, but colorful outfits. I think my theme for the next few posts is going to be pretty evident. :)
