Lydia: "This outfit is mostly inspired by the fact I've been wearing this sweater for every day for the last couple of weeks. I recently got, it's a sweater that my grandmother knit and I inherited it after she died. And so it makes me think of her and also I put new buttons on it recently, which felt want to wear it even more."
Erin: "I would just say maybe movies and thrift stores."

I like how the texture of the cardigans just jump out at you and how comfy yet put together these ladies look. If there was a fashion redux of girls in cardigans with glasses and loafers, that would be pretty rad. [Also, these ladies said they were fans of fashionist! So hi!]

Libby does a great job of creating an interesting and relaxed silhouette with her long uneven hem cardigan and her long scarf. This is the best outfit ever for a lazy Sunday.

"Laziness I guess. Monochrome laziness."

I have an affinity for Comme des Garçons, even her creepy Play line. Jef wears it the same way I imagine Kawakubo would, monochromatically casual.

"I like buying vintage clothes a lot. And usually when I buy second hand I like pieces that normally people wouldn't get. I always get unique things when I thrift shop."

I like that Abe's military jacket, olive green beanie, and gray denim are made of fabrics that bring to mind every day worker uniforms: wool, wool knit and denim. It's also a bit of color blocking with muted grayed out color.


A nicer version of the de rigeur Converse seen in the Mission, these are leather.

"It's a vintage-retro style. I wanted to wear a chunky sweater during the winter. And now it's the first warm Sunday, so I added the shorts."

Liking the silhouette of his sweater that reminds me ever so slightly of a smoking jacket. Those slim cut shorts that stops just above the knee? That's a good look.
